Mnexa is a work-only career performance journal delivered through Telegram. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information for the private beta.
Information We Collect
Telegram account information: Telegram user ID and username if available.
Work entries: Messages you send to log work activity, stored in raw and AI-enriched forms.
Career profile: Optional role context, company, job description, team context, manager context, and career goals.
Preferences: Timezone, week start day, and notification settings.
How We Use Your Data
- Log and enrich work entries
- Infer and link workstreams
- Generate weekly summaries and monthly syntheses
- Draft LinkedIn, resume, review, and manager talking-point suggestions
- Support search over your work history
- Operate, secure, and monitor the service
Data Storage & Security
Relational data is stored in SQLite. Vector data for semantic search is stored in ChromaDB.
We use encryption in transit and operational safeguards appropriate for a private beta.
Third-Party Services
DeepSeek: We use DeepSeek through the OpenAI SDK Chat Completions API to process entries, generate summaries, and draft career artifacts.
Telegram: Mnexa operates as a Telegram bot, so your interactions are also subject to Telegram's policies.
Talarius: We use Talarius for operational alerts and health monitoring.
Data Retention
We retain your data while your account is active. Export is deferred for private beta. You can delete your account and associated data through the Telegram account deletion flow.
Beta Scope
Private beta does not include personal journaling, networking, matchmaking, task management, or automated publishing.
